Using C1 with Mac Photos

I'm sure this question has been posed here before, but I couldn't find it in any searches. I'm a soon-to-be new a7iii user considering C1 Sony. I use Mac Photos as my primary photo software for storing everything in iCloud and doing simple photo adjustments. When I have needed to do more serious adjustments, I've been using LR 6 and PS CC. Since I'm not getting lens profile updates on LR anymore, I have to either purchase C1 or subscribe to LR. Ideally, I'd like to have something that allows me to do simple lens profile corrections while keeping files in Photos. If possible, I don't want to export from Photos, correct in C1, then reimport into photos. Any suggestions for how to make this into a reasonable workflow? I like LR for photos stacking/HDR, so unless C1 saves me some workflow time, I might go in that direction despite the higher LR price.
