    This trick never fails.

After puzzling on a problem for a good awhile, post a question on a forum.

Immediately the answer comes to me.

    Weird.

    Is it not?

So: never mind, no answer is needed now.

Can anyone explain how to delete an unneeded post?

On the top line of a post you have made if you visit that post you should see an X icon with popup help that indicates you can click there to delete the post.

    HTH.

I never found the X, but looking through the board FAQs, apparently no post can be deleted once someone has replied to it.
So, since this thread cannot be removed and so is for all eternity, let me ask a related question:

Can one search across multiple albums, say if they were all subsumed under a group? My trials suggest No. So, if one wants to find a photo, one can only search after selecting the "All Images" category, unless one is fortunate to know specific album.

    And,
After finding a photo and selecting it in the browser, is there a way to determine which/how many albums it might be categorized under?

How are you identifying the image you want to find?

i.e. What are you searching for?

    Image name?

    Keywords?

    Date?

That is my assessment too. Only when albums are inside a Project you can search within the boundaries of that project.

Unfortunately not (actually, I hope that someone proofs me I am wrong).

I think you have to regard Groups as nothing more than a convenient means to tidy up your list of albums and projects.

The Webinar here https://youtu.be/nDJR4Zcd1Lw is good about the various catalog organisational tools, from about 31:00 to about 46:00.
