Return Key - remap
Hi- With the new version of C1 20 the Return Key on the mac now "ok's" the crop. you used to just have to go back to the hand. (h). Is there a way to go back to the return key not ok-ing the crop? Disable that feature? 😕
Things I have tried:
Making a new set of keyboard and short cuts
Finding everything under the 'return' key and turning that off.
Looked in Perfreancees and under Crop nothing.
I have my return key set to rename just like it is on the Mac OS so its not a key I want to use for Ok-ing crops or anything else.
Thank you!
J

First, pressing the return key is *not* necessary to OK the crop. Any crop you made is still instantly saved as before. The trick with the Return key is that it is a kind of shortcut for going from the crop mode to the pan mode (hand icon).
You still can do this as in previous versions of Capture One without using the Return key.0 -
AHHH ok ok, but how do I turn that off? I liked how it was before? I like using C and H together and my return key as just a renaming key? 0 -

You can not switch the Return key option off, as far as I know. I am sorry. You could file a support case and either ask how to switch it off or ask for it as a new feature.0 -

I'm with you on that.
However the majority seemed to want the Return key used because that's what other products needed.
I wondered how long it would be before I found a like minded soul disappointed with the change. (Although to be honest I don't find it makes much difference to me so far.)
