Import Session to Catalog - Clarify
When importing a session into a catalog, does the catalog now host the adjustments? The original session folder still contains all original folders, including the .cos files. When the session images are now being viewed within the overall catalog they were imported into, are those adjustments pulling from the local .cos files or from the catalog's memory? If it is now represented from the catalog, is there any reason to save the .cos files that were in the original folder structure of the session, as it pertains to the overall catalog?
Thanks!

Once it is in the catalog, the adjustments from the session are imported into the catalog. If you make more adjustments from within the catalog, they won’t be copied back into the session .cos files. They will only be recorded within the catalog. You *could* delete the .cos files, and the preview files too, from the session folders. However, I am fairly new to catalogs, and for now I am reassured by having my original sessions left intact, in case something goes very wrong with my catalog (probably because I do something stupid). Unless you are very short of storage space, why not leave them in place for now?

It may be worth just pointing out that the session and the entries in the catalogue created from the session have the potential for entirely independent "lives".
The session still exists even if your catalogue has referenced its files. The session and catalogue will be independent of each other EXCEPT for sharing the source files.
