Image size when printing
Is it possible to see the print size (after cropping of course) in C1, much like the “Image Size†function in Photoshop? It would help to have that function.
Thank you

You can. Though I am not 100% sure what you are asking for.
If you want to, you can change the units used in the cropping tool: the choices are pixels, inches, centimetres or millimetres. But what you will see will also be affected by the process recipe you have active. If it is one scaled at 100% (or any percentage) then what I have said is true.
But if you have a process recipe active that defines a certain size of output (for instance I have one for creating JPGs for web use that are scaled to 1600 px on the long side) then what is displayed when you crop will always reflect that.
I don't use Photoshop so I am not sure what the image size feature does. Can you explain exactly what you want to see?

The "Image size" function in Photoshop takes your print-paper size and takes into account all your print margins and looks at your cropping and gives you the actual size your image will be when printed. That makes specifying mattes and cutting them (for framing) easy, because you don't have to measure your printed imageâ€""Image Size" function does that for you, and much more accurately than measuring.
Is there an equivalent in C1? (I haven't found it).
Thanks,

No, unfortunately not. The printing module of Photoshop is far better than the one of Capture One, which is a real mess between the "Image Settings", "Layout" and "Margins" tools.
I already suggested Capture One to improve it and I was answered me it was a request they would consider....0 -
Same here, I have reported at least 10 bugs on the printing module and though most of them have been confirmed I am waiting since version 9 for any of them being fixed. When reporting the latest bug in 2019 support simply replied that they know that the printing module needs significant re-design but they can't commit to any time line.
