Has this setup (same computer, Capture One, cable) worked in the past or has anything changed since last successful attempt? Or is this a new setup?

You can not operate the camera from Capture One but does Capture One recognises the camera at all?

    Hi Paul,
my capture one is the trial version, but I think that is not the Problem. Im already working for the first time with capture one. The first steps with the software I took a EOS 7D markII and the camera work from the first moment. So yesterday I started a first trial with the 1DX markII, but the software has no signal from the camera. Curiously the original EOS Utility spotted the camera. Today I visited calumet in Hamburg an we tried to connect an rent Camera (same model) with capture one and it works. Could it be the latest version of my capture one (.270). The Calumet Version was .260 ?!
    Thanks for your feedback Christof

    Hi Paul,
it works. I think the problem was the firmware from the camera. I just installed the latest version and now tether shooting works!!
    Best regards from Hamburg Christof
