Capture One 20 black spinning wheel

Okay -- so officially can't open C1, and looks like something happened to my catalog. I upgraded to Capture One 20 from 12, and used a temporary trial key, and as it tried to pull up my catalog (which was updated from previous version using my Phase Lifetime license) I just get a small window with spinning black wheel. Can only force quit.

Tried to delete and reinstall, but still hangs on that. Pretty crazy.

  Update -- it ended up working, just took 10 minutes to load on a TB3 drive.

  Not sure if this is related but at first load C1 will try to assess the status of any GPUs it finds and if necessary build a kernel for them.
  
  Now this can take some time - not usually 10 minutes of course but if something unexpected it encountered it may take a lot longer than normal.
  
  Should that have happened there ought to be log file around that recorded what was going on. If so they may help to identify why things took so long.
