Installing Prodibi plug-in CaptureOne 20 and Catalina
Hi guys,
I ran into issues installing the prodibi plug-in. MacOS gave me an error saying that Apple could not verify the developer and that the plug-in needed to be updated.
As the plug-in is still labeled beta my first thought was that it is not yet tested for C20. I contacted prodibi and could confirm that it runs with the new version. However installation is a bit tricky:
Install instruction for MacOS Catalina
0. Clean your installation: close C1, go to /users/{your user}/Library/Application Support/Capture One/Plug-ins and delete plugins from previous versions or installation attempts
1. Download at https://www.prodibi.com/Capture-One-Plugin
2. Right click > open with Capture One 20
3. You will get an error message > go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy (General) > allow apps downloaded from App Store AND identified developers
4. In Capture one > Preferences > Plugins > enable the prodibi plug-in
5. You will have a new security error message but this time with "open" button > click open
6. Enable prodibi plugin again and you should be good to go
7. Login with the credentials, check capture one 20 check box
Hope that helps.
Cheers - Mathias

Thank you Mathias,
I have not tested with macOS Catalina, but it is obvious that permissions in this version are much more restricted compared to Mojave and earlier.
This link mentions the three methods to install a plugin, but
https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002659798-Installing-a-plugin
Have you tried the other methods too?0
