no lens correction profile for "Rodenstock HR Digaron-W 32"
Hello,
I use C1 v8.2 on a pc and I asked PhaseOne to add a lens correction profile for the "Rodenstock HR Digaron-W 32 mm 1:4" lens - this still is missing in the current version. They said that it probably will not be provided at all, so I am forced to find another way to apply corrections regarding distortion. I don't like to use the generic profile as this is an emergency solution.
Well, the only way I see is to process tiff-files and apply corrections with another software product. I currently use Photoshop with the plug-in "ALPA Lens Corrector". This works, of course, but it is circumstantial (not the tool itself but the fact of switching to another application just for one step) and it also is still a compromise regarding quality as it does not apply to the raw data.
Do you also have to cope with missing lens profiles and what is your solution?
Thank you for your experiences,
Daniel
(I postet this message in the general workflow forum, because I think the issue is not os-specific - hope I'm right)
