Sharpening defaults in process recipes

Hi

I am new to digital image processing and wondering why some of C1-8's default process recipes have "disable sharpening" checked and others don't? I assume if the image has been deemed to require sharpening the processing wouldn't change that or am I misunderstanding something?

  No, that is simple is that is just C1 recommendation for target receipts, such as full-size where you want to minimize processing of C1, and get most of image later in post editing in photoshop and sharpening is last step usually performed before displaying image
