Will using Catalogs decrease extra cache & folders?
I've been always using Sessions and just moving around the Libraries but I shooting a large amount of e-commerce like product and want to make it easier for other people to access the images and whatnot. They are getting sick of how many extra folders are showing up and I was wondering if switching to Catalogs and using Albums for each new tethered shoot will be an easier workflow.
My other idea was to use Sessions for a shoot designating an Output folder to go to a Catalog and then moving the Selects to an Album in that Catalog. Does this make sense?
Personally I us C1 9 on my macbook pro but this project is on Windows 7. (gotta say I love browsing images by using the Library as a Finder with Windows since I'm not used to the interface compared to a Mac.)
