Review images taken without it jumping to new upload

is this possible: review images taken without it jumping to new ones that are being taken.
I was hoping to use this software where I am shooting continuously but someone else is trying to review a selected number of images. When I tried it... it would always jump to the new images coming into computer.
Is this possible to do? Using Mac with the Sony current version.

  Yes.
  
  Set the menu option: Camera>Auto select next Capture - to never.
  
  Images will continue to download to the Capture folder in the background. Choose either "immediately" or "when ready" from the same menu to restore the updating behavior. You can short cut these options for a faster operation.
  
  Auto pause is another way to do this, and kicks in (when using Immediately or when ready) when you click on a variant that is not the last one.
