Capture One 20 - Output location
Hi,
In previous versions of Capture One (example v12), when I processed my high res / low res images I would set my output location to the output folder of my session folder structure (MacOS Finder). Now, after processing the files in CAPTURE ONE 20, the JPEGS can't be seen on the MacOS finder UNLESS, I access my drive directly from Capture One 20. Is there any way to view my output files on the finder like in previous versions?
I appreciate the help.

Do I understand you correctly that when you go to the output folder for your JPEG files with Finder, you do not see the image files, but when you browse with the Library tool in the System Folder section, you can see them in Capture One? 0 -
This sounds odd, but maybe I'm also seeing something similar. I noticed this in the last beta but haven't tried it in the final release.
In the last beta, instead of storing the output images in the folder I thought I'd designated, C1 appended a subfolder name to the recipe. So, for example, if I wanted to save output to Desktop, C1 saved to Desktop...NewFolder, and I wasn't able to figure out how to get C1 to drop the magical subfolder. This hasn't happened in any other C1 release I've usedl
Is that what you're seeing? Where perhaps C1's storing the output in a subfolder (indicated in the Output Destination pane on Process)? If so, send a Support request (that's what I'll do if I confirm the behavior in the release).0 -
Not sure what MAC OS you are using; If using Catalina be advised there is a known problem with Finder not showing new files.

I've seen this problem myself. Restarting Finder fixes it each time it happens. Its a OS bug , it happened for me in CaptureOne V120 -

You are correct, I just tried re-starting finder and C1, and that fixed the issue. There is indeed a bug in Catalina/Capture One 20 preventing the application from either fully linking up with MacOS' folder structure or ignoring it all together.
On that note, a not so intuitive solution I found, is to create a sub-folder (not necessary for everyone - but needed on my current project) in the output folder using Capture One, select it as the "output location" in the process recipe set up and once exported, right click and select "show in finder" from Capture One. That way it gets updated at the OS level.
Hope this makes sense and it helps anyone experiencing the same issue.
Long story short, it's a bug, since it worked fine with Capture One 12.0
