Have you had a look around the rest of the forum?

Umpteen of us are now using a registered, fully-functioning Capture One Pro 20, courtesy of account management by Fastspring.

Just forum search "Fastspring" - that should put your mind at rest.

So explain to me why my code doesnt work.
Also, in the application, I see an upgrade13.0.0 that rings me to the same upgrade page where my pre order code doesnt work

Same here, I cannot even open the application. All the codes from this email in conjunction with the V12 code do not work.

    Umpteen Goodly for you! 🤭

I am though a simple individual, only one PhD and mere short 40 years in Computer Science. How can we expect with such rudimentary skills to maneuver the complex shoals of the CaptureOne, PhaseOne, Fastspring registration, order, upgrade, activation codes? Failed in umpteen attempts, and I am pissed.
Not so goodly for me. ☹️

I am a long time capture one user, since version 7, and I never had an upgrade problem.
Now suddenly something like fastspring pops up, takes my money, and gives me a code that doesn't work.
I call that a hoax, unfair business, bad customer service, ...

    Seriously?

Clearly e-commerce has developed too far.

Imagine how problematic things are going to be when the automated world falls apart and there are no fall back options in a paperless world.

I got the "pre-order" email and I'm baffled. I don't recall pre-ordering. So my guess is the email went out in error, and the "code" it's referring to would have been sent to me IF I'd pre-ordered.

UPDATE: My mistake, I actually had pre-ordered. All sorted now.

The activation code from FastSpring is a voucher code. 'Buy' anew the upgrade. Fill in the vouchercode and the price to pay become 0,00. Click 'next' and you get the official activationcode for CO 20.

I did that too, but it says that it does not found the coupon code.

Tried that and that doesn't work for me either, it tells me the promotion code I entered doesn't exist.

Capture One user since version 3 and just about fed up now as this is becoming more and more like Adobe, GREED.
The upgrade prices have gone up and up, upgrades use to be $79 now they are closer to $200.

I put in a ticket and told them to refund me. Versions 11 and 12 had some meat for the upgrade price, this upgrade is "meh" for the price, that's if you can get it to work. LOL I'll stick with 12 for a while longer.

It is the License Key: C120PRO et c from FastSpring that serves as a voucher code you have to fill in. For me it worked.

Indeed, it worked as a coupon code.
This is an example of extremely unclear communication.
Luckily, the capture one software is better dan phase one's communication.

And yet you still can't figure this out - which should make it even more embarrassing to admit to, shouldn't it?

Yeah this is the one I used, there clearly is still some issues regarding this even following the instructions to the T.

I received my second form letter from support and it starts like this, "We are aware of the issues surrounding the pre-order/upgrade process and as a consequence, we are receiving a high volume of support requests at this moment in time."

I thinks it is obvious that there are some voucher codes out there that are not working as they should be.

For all that suffer from the upgrade/pre-order issues, get a 30-day trial key from the website and wait till the bulk of support cases are over. They will get it sorted within a month... 😁

When my coupon code did not work I sent an email to the Support group. Ultimately, they told me that some of the codes given out had a problem being recognized. They then asked me to try it one more time. Suddenly the code I had been entering worked! All this time I just assumed I was doing something wrong.

If it is not working for you I would send an email to Support and tell them that your code (send actual code) is being rejected.
