Direct Color Picker tool disables Undo
Clicking on the Direct Color Editor tool disables Undo. I found this while testing the Basic Color Editor where the Direct Color Editor is the the color picker to use.
I used the Capture One default workspace to test. This is what I did:
1. Pick a color using the the Direct Color Editor color picker tool and then
2. Make a change using the slider bar (I used the Lightness slider)
3. After clicking the undo (back arrow), the undo tool is disabled until you exit the catalog and reopen.
I have replicated this this on my iMac Pro and my MacBook Pro in a couple of catalogs.
The problem is not specifically related to the Basic Color Editor. If you pick the color from the square color samples at the top of the Basic Color Editor, this does not happen. It is related specifically to the Direct Color picker tool. Selecting it and clicking anywhere in an image disables Undo in any context.
I will submit a support case, but would like to know if others can replicate it. It is possible that this bug is triggered uniquely on my installation due to an interaction with previous settings in previous installations, but it seems quite specific and very odd. Also, I cannot replicate it in C1 12, where the same color picker is called Basic Color Editor tool.

Hi Jerry,
I didn't face this issue on my MacBook Pro.

Wonder if this could be a conflict with previous installations and if I need to do a complete uninstall and reinstall. Given all of the problems others have encountered with validating installations, I am hesitant to do this unless absolutely needed.
Ever since C1 v10, I have had issues with Undo, and the Zoom slider becoming unresponsive in dual monitor mode. Selecting the default workspace, closing the catalog, quitting C1, and then restarting C1 and reopening the catalog and selecting my dual monitor workspace corrects this until I change workspaces or close the catalog. In addition, with c1 v20, Undo becomes unresponsive after using the Direct Color Picker.
So, I am at a loss for an explanation. Perhaps I have some problem with a custom workspace pref file or other residua from upgrading previous versions, however the same issues occur with the default workspaces. Although I do not need the Direct Color Picker and could just quit C1 rather than closing my main catalog, it is annoying to have to perform kabuki every time I lose use of a common tool. Of note, the support folks have not had a definitive answer, but they are probably swamped responding to installation problems.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
