Batch Locating ? ? ?
So again.. coming from Aperture.. aperture was incredibly intelligent and flexible and once it found ONE image, if there were others it would ask.. HEY WE FOUND MORE IMAGES, DO YOU WANT THEM RELINKED TOO? This doesn't happen with Capture One (AT ALL).
I had to open up an older file and all my images are offline.. It WILL NOT allow me to batch relink anything.. I have to do it one by one. What is going on? WHY (Dear God) is this so hard?
First of all under catalog collections > All Images.. it shows all images but I can't batch relink there (LOCATE is grayed out);
Secondly under "Folders" > (hard drive where images are) It says "No Images In Collection" 😕 ❓
SRSLY (I HATE YOU APPLE 😭 )

You can use the locate feature on a folder as well as on a single file.

This works the same way in 12 in my experience.

I run Capture One 20 on macOS 10.14.6. Like the original poster, I had a catalog with a large number images (over 1700) that were showing us as "Offline".
Looking into the Folders subtab in the Library tab, I could see that the Capture One had lost track of the disk volume that the images had been imported to. The name of the volume was still there, but it now appeared as a folder, not as a disk volume. And this folder was empty.
This is a case where a right-click Locate actually does the trick. I was able to browse back to the disk volume and upon opening it, Capture One fairly quickly located all of the files.
