Open Capture One, but not with the last session
System: Windows 7 Professional / Mac OS 10.13.6.
Software: Capture One 11.2.3
Problem: How to "close" a session/the Capture One program so that following the exit a reopening of the program will not start with the latest session, but with the dialog box: Recents/New Catalog.../New Session/Browse.
Thanks!

Hold down Alt while you click the C1 icon, and keep holding it down until the dialog box of recent items appears. (Don't know if it's the same on Windows, but on Mac it works like that.)

Holding Alt down opens the dialog box on Windows as well. Right clicking the Capture One icon will provide a list of recent sessions on both Mac & Windows. 0 -
Many thanks Ian and cdc! Holding down the Alt key while starting the Capture One works fine on Mac, but not with my Windows. Starting the Capture One while pressing the Alt key ( and holding it down), on Windows, will open the Capture One 11 Properties window and will not launch the program. I tried also with Ctrl and Shift; none of them will start the program.

On Windows, pressing Shift on start should do the trick. Make sure you first start the program from the shortcut, and immediately next press the Shift key. Try the other Shift key if one does not work.0 -
Thank you very much. First starting the program and then pressing the Shift does the job!

Strangely enough holding Alt down works on my PC to bring up the dialog box, as does Shift. 0
