Split one session into a number of other sessions
I know I've done this before, just can't remember how I did it! Also couldn't find searching through threads.
I've got a large session, 5000+ images from a project. Now project is completed, I'm ready to split out the different components of it into their own sessions for ease of editing, handling and computer resource management. What's the best way to do this.
Thanks!

There is not automated way to export images as a session, only as a catalog. I assume that all of the different components are contained within their own folders?
I would create the new sessions and use library tool of the original session to move the folders/images to their new locations. In the newly created sessions you will have to create new favorites or albums as that won't transfer over, but image ratings and edits will.
In theory if you moved all of CaptureOne folders that contain the sidecar files along with the images you could do this in explorer/finder and then your ratings, edits, etc would move along with the files and every thing would be intact when you open them in a new session.0
