Colour balance adjustment - seen only in the small preview

I try to do colour balance adjustment (shadows etc. in the colour editor). Strangely enough I see the changes happening only in the small preview on the right but not in the main view of the photo (this remains changeless even after extreme adjustments). How is it possible ? It is absolutely annoying - the colours change in the small preview but not in the main view of the photo: how can I do something then ?

    By "small Preview is it safe to understand that you are referring to the Thumbnail image in the Browser window rather than the Preview image in the Viewer Window?

    If so try zooming in to the main preview window (or just go to 100%) to see what happens when you apply your adjustment.

    If you still see nothing I would suggest that you create a Support Case and enlist the help of the Capture One Support Team to guide you through what is happening and identify any problems that are affecting your experience of processing.

    Others with Mac experience may be able to offer further advice prior to that but I'm a Windows based user. Although the functionality is as identical as different operating systems will allow the cause of occasionally reported apparent lack of preview update when using Windows (usually at worst a temporary internal system glitch rather loading revised Preview views than a major software problem) may be different.

    So I will leave it to others with relevant experience to come up with further advice.
