No way to quote a previous post

As far as I can see, there's no way to quote a previous post. I hope this option will be added.

    Heh, there are many rather user hostile properties in the forum. Some are probably inherent zen things, others are more likely down to zen/forum management, or rather lack thereof. I cited the above using copy and paste and then the quote button (looks like 99 on my screen). But that is markup only, it is definitely not a quote function.

    I'm puzzled - isn't that what's happening here?

    OK, as Odd says, it needs a copy-and-paste, then a click on the quotation marks, but it's hardly a hardship, just a different way of doing...

    There are many things in this "community" software - a working search tool, search by user, spam reporting, user blocking - that I'd want to see fixed first.
