C20 crashing during layer work

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018), Mojave 10.14.6
C20 crashes from time to time when I do layer work (on Leica M-Monochrome files, gen-1).
Say every 4th photo I work on there is a crash -- too much in my book.
Havent experienced that during other work in C20.
Are others experiencing that too?
What is the fix? Waiting for a service release?
(Unrelated: the license upgrade process by using my C12 code and the included pre-authorization for C20, was by far the worst process I have seen to get such a thing done. I purchased from the US.)

It is also about an issue with Leica Monochrom.
I suggest you also report the issue in a support case.0
