    4) what's the difference between 'adjusted' and 'processed' (in the filter settings)?

Adjusted means that you have done things to the image like adjust exposure, saturation, crop, contrast, etc.

Processed means that you have created output such as a JPG or TIFF.

Some sort of answers to the questions.  Also  - are you using an Express version or full Pro version?

    1. The answer is probably that you should use the library but then is might depend whether the contents of a folder have some common information that could be used as a filter.

    2. Sorry, I don't understand what you are asking - unless you are a Fuji user. Not sure where orientation comes into anything.

    3. Copy the crop tool setting to the clipboard. Reset the image. Paste the crop tool settings. (Subject to whether you have created the crop or, perhaps, it is part of a lens correction activity. In that case you might have other options.

    4. Already answered.

    5.  See:

    File size limitations

    • Smallest supported file for viewing: minimum side of 16px.
    • Smallest supported file for editing: minimum side of 512px.
    • Largest supported file: Width x Height must be smaller than 40000 x 20000 pixels or sum thereof."

    Does this help?

Thank you guys for your answers...

    additional info:
Im using the Pro version (20) and I shoot in RAW with a Canon EOS-R

    regarding question 2:

When I take pictures with my canon EOS R, i can use picture profiles (portrait, landscape, neutral etc). I was wondering if you can change this afterwards in Capture one... Same as you can change the whitebalance afterwards...

And thanks for the link.. I see that PSB isnt supported, so ill have to use TIFF for very large files. Not a problem.

    Thanks!

Oh and as an extra question

If I crop an image..i still see the cropped area in the image overview (film strip)

Is there any way to only see 'applied cropped' view of the image ? Without the extra stuff that you cropped?

No, the thumbnails always show the full image with the crop on it.

The profiles: I would expect that the in-camera profiles don't apply themselves to raw files, only to JPEGs. So what you see in Capture One is the same raw file whatever profile you applied in camera. You can of course adjust that in any way you like. There is no way of applying the Canon profile as a package. However, you could begin to explore styles. It may be that there are styles, or you could create styles, that produce a similar effect.
