    Hi Chris,

Thank you for your feedback. I will forward your request for a dedicated lens profile for the Tamron lens internally.

    Best regards,

    Jakob, Capture One

I don't have this camera or lens. But if you are interested in seeing what difference the manufacturer profile is making, choose an image where that is applied, then change from manufacturer profile to "generic" and see what difference the manufacturer profile is making.

Hi IanW, thanks for your tip.

Yes that is exactly the methodology I used to judge that the Manufacturer Profile did not deliver on promise. Actually, I'm not sure whether that is the manufacturer profile or the way C1 implements it.

From what I could judge so far on distortion and light fallof, in the worst case scenario (28mm focal length), the Manufacturer Profile performs zero correction compared to Generic. For example, to get a satisfying distortion I must manually push the slider to 100%.

I'm interested to perform additional tests and share them if people report enough interest on this request.

Excited to read today that this lens is now supported with COP 13.1.

Very eager to test it soon :)

And since you're doing so great with adding Tamron 28-75 please also add one for Tamron 28–200 mm f/2.8–5.6 Di III RXD :D
