Custom Tool Tab Saving

    Yes, it should work like that. Perhaps say in detail what you are doing to save the workspace, in case there is some obvious mistake in the way you are going about it.

    Thanks, Ian. Actually, it seems to be intermittent. I am new to this software, and it is possible that I didn't do exactly the same thing every time. I will keep an eye on it and report back any new data.

    Yes I can here to complain abut this too! 

    The custom tool tabs I create were erased moving to the latest version, perhaps understandable.

    But saving my custom workspace isn't saving the custom tool tab and in fact moving from one workspace not another REMOVES the custom Tool Tab.

    I loathe to create another one, its actually some work to do, until I realize this is a bug or a feature

    Try going to Window > Workspace and choosing your custom workspace that includes your tools. If you didn't save them in the previous version, try going back to that version, saving a workspace that has the tools, and saving a new catalog. Then open the catalog in the new version and try again.

    (When I first reported my problem, I didn't realize that the custom tool tabs were saved in the Workspaces.)

    Ok I am back to complain about this again.

    I created a custom tool tab, in a user created workspace, switched to another workspace, the custom tool tab is gone.. ok fine thats to be expected..., so then switched back to my user created workspace and my custom tool tab doesn't come back. I fact I check all the workspaces and its simply GONE!

    Also not sure this is related, but Right click on my Custom tool Tab doesn't not give me the "add a tool " drop down. 

    I am on a Mac running Nojave with Capture 20.

    Reminder: this is a user-to-user forum.   Maybe people from Capture One look, but don't expect them to answer. Click on the "Submit a Request" button in the upper right corner of the page to begin a conversation with support people.  I'm not saying you are sure to get a response, but you'll have a better chance talking to support than posting here.
