New user: How to get photos OUT of inside catalogue

I store my pix in a master file on my MacBook.  I'm a new user and have an album that I inadvertently imported to what I've now learned is "inside catalogue". They don't show up in my master file but that's where I want them.

How do I get them OUT of the catalogue and into my master file?

  I guess you mean master folder.

  First right click on "Folders" and select "Add folder...".

  Then you can drag'n'drop the images to the correct folder

  Thank you both. The catalogue/folder structure is confusing compared to LR.
