Folder problem
Hi, I’ve encountered a problem with a folder. Version 12 by the way, but that forum seems to have disappeared!
Images are stored on an external SSD drive. Imported into a catalog, renamed, organised in albums that match the folder structure on disk, one folder per day. All was well until images from two days, I.e., two folders, went offline. I can locate every image individually without a problem. The folder tool shows green I.e., the drive is online and images in all other folders are online. Tried to locate the folder but that didn’t do anything, still showing the images as offline.
should I try to synchronise the folder? Will that create duplicates?
help appreciated!

The first thing I would try is to verify the catalog, in the file menu.

Verifying didn't change anything - it didn't find errors and the images are still offline. I'll recreate the catalog over the weekend and let you know if that fixed the problem.
Thanks!

I tried Walter's recommendation but unfortunately the new catalog has exactly the same problems as the old one. It's still not locating files in the same folders as before. Is there a way to find all images that it can't locate the files for, so I can delete them and re-import the files?

No standard function I know of. But you might have luck running C1 on a Mac.
