Metadata Support for Google's new Image License Metadata feature
CompletedHi
Is there a plan to add in Capture One the licensing metadatas in test with Google with their beta feature "Image License Metadata" ?
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/image-license-metadata#iptc-photo-metadata
Thank you
Regards

It isn't Google's new metadata field. It is part of the IPTC Extensions.
https://www.iptc.org/std/photometadata/specification/IPTC-PhotoMetadata#licensor
Google is just saying they will display it if you provide it. Yes, this means Capture One must provide us the field to fill in and support properly embedding it in the output files. While they are at it, they should also add PLUS license code and all of the other fields described in the current IPTC standards.

Hi Laurence,
Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you've taken to contribute towards the development of the software.
I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.
Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.

I would like to request this too!

Please add this! Google is about to roll out globally an update to image search that reads this tag.

Also we really need the 'xmp-plus:licensor' tag as well to support Google's new feature.
