Tethering yet again
When I'm tethering does C1 20 have a built in feature that would allow me to save images to both an internal and external hard drive at the same time?

No, Capture One does not provide this feature. Some cameras do. If I am correct, I think you asked the same question 9 days earlier.

Did you expect a different answer?

The other day I asked if there was a way to get a Canon 1DX to record to its cards AND the tethered computer. This new question was about (duh) having Capture One save to two separate hard drives simultaneously. By the way what camera in existence would enable two hard drives to be recorded at the same time. So no it was a different answer to a different albeit similar question.

The Enterprise version of C1 has an "Original File" backup facility.
Type "tether backup" into the search facility in the Community pages and the relevant informatin should appear at or very near the top of the list of references found.

I got it, PhaseoneUser10228, ;-)
I hope you got your questions answered. That's the whole point of the forum, of course.

Yeah I finally have my answer and it's one I'm very disappointed with. In order to simply back up a tethered camera the purchase of Capture One Enterprise is required. That's $583 CDN for one year's RENTAL!!!!!. Of course C1E has bells and whistles like bar code scanning and so forth but the idea that BACKUP is extra, makes me ill. Way to go Phase One, way to go.
