Leica SL2 - Hot folder - copy adjustments from previous image

I think the solution provided by Walter, who is in general spot on with his comments, does not work for the Leica as there is no real tethering, because of the Hot Folder feature that is used.

With the Hot Folder, there is no way to prolongate adjustments. Hot Folder is not regarded as tethering. You use another software (curious which one) to capture.

Only if Capture One is doing the capturing for you, you can use the Next Capture Adjustments tool.

Thanks Walter, spot on for supported cameras with full tethering support but sadly it doesn't work for hot folder enabled shoots, this is why I think it needs to use Applescript.

Thanks Paul - I'm using Leica Image Shuttle which is rock solid - just wish it was easy to get the adjustments over - it seems like such a basic missing feature!

You would have though Capture One would just have this feature from day one!

    The hunt continues!

I wanted to post this for reference - I have finally figured it out. I installed a macro software called Keyboard Maestro and this is my workflow. You have to 'charge' the settings you want into the CO clipboard by copying them from a photo but then it should work!

It's triggered when an image lands in a folder using whatever manufacturer software you use to tether, you need to specify this in Keyboard Maestro.

I hope this is useful for people
