It would be fantastic if BW could be a layer with opacity control.

    Hi Stephen,

    As Walter mentioned, for now you may create a New Filled Adjustments Layer and use the Saturation slider of the Exposure tool together with the Color Balance and Color Editor tools.

    In Capture One, the Black and White tool and B&W Styles now work on the background only. I will forward your request regarding the possibility to use the Black and White tool with the Layers and create BW Layers to the Product Management team.

    The workaround with Saturation works of course.

    But - I if see it right - this gives me much less diferenciation than working with the complete bw-Tool.

    So if I want a fine adjusted bw with e.g. the famious yellow Taxi in NewYork, I would still need the bw-Tool as Layer, isn't it?

    If so, please ask your PM again, if they could make it available in Layers soon ...
