Can you tell more details? What are your exact export settings, what are your raw files, how are you using the HDR tool, what image do we look at (white dots? Different rectangular areas?), which is your viewer application. What is it that you think doesn't look good.

Have you tried turning off hardware acceleration and exporting again? It seems illogical, but it does sometimes cause artefacts, apparently.

I have the same problem since I changed to AMD Graphiccard 5700 from NVIDIA. I already opened a ticket with the C1 support but they just react as if this is not a high priority problem. So I have to work with deactivated hardware acceleration. If you have an AMD card too please open a ticket with Capture One support. I know I am not alone with the problem but the more ticket they get the better.

As you are Windows users you could check for updated drivers for the GPU hardware and Windows Version combination.

Everything is on latest release. AMD says that C1 may not be ready with their engine for the new AMD RDNA Architecture. I can find some older posts to RADEON 5700 series and Color trouble with HA in C1. But its just with HDR slider. If you don't use it all OpenCL exports are fine. With 12.1.5 there was an update for Radeon (old generation) (• Fixed an issue with OpenCL using Radeon VII graphics cards). So I still have hopes that C1 will fix that issue one day.

    Hi,

I reckon this is Radeon RX 5700 related problem with insufficient OpenCL support. I have similar problem with my XFX RADEON RX5700XT and opened a ticket 2 months ago.

Got a reply from support that they have received similar reports and requested log files and placed the ticket on hold

"We appreciate the time you’ve taken to contribute towards the development and maintenance of Capture One.

I have added your case details to the bug report for the R&D team.

I will place your ticket on-hold and will get back to you should we need any more information on this bug report.

Unfortunately, we cannot comment when this bug will be fixed, but rest assured that it has been reported and will be looked into.

We also cannot guarantee that this will be in the next service release, but we will do our best to roll out a fix as soon as possible

As a workaround please, please disabled Hardware Acceleration under Preferences > General, about halfway down under OpenCL (Hardware Acceleration), set Display/Processing to Never. Then, restart Capture One to commit this change."

In the meantime I will be using my C1 without hardware acceleration.. What a bummer.

You can turn it off separately for display and processing. Might be worth experimenting.
