Channel Mix.
ImplementedI want to add Channel Mix.
It's called "channel mix" in Photoshop.
Channel Mix is a function that change the color density for each channel of R, G, and B to another channel.
This function is not necessary in most cases, but it is a very essential function that is impossible to work without for me who is doing infrared photography.
Now that almost all other work is done in Capture One this gives me satisfaction and has become an indispensable process in my workflow. In particular, it is a SW that cannot be replaced in detail and color.
However, the absence of channel mix has become an important problem in the use of Capture One for the main personal work, infrared work, and there is a lot of regret for the whole workflow.
Also, if channel mix is implemented in Capture One, I wonder whether it can be processed in a complete RAW file or in layers. If it is solved from Capture One to layer, I think that the workflow will be simplified and the color will be the basis for accurate work.
In the workflow, currently, there is a process of finishing the first stage work such as a white blance with RAW files, opening it in photoshop, performing a channel mix operation, and adjusting the white balance again and finishing the third stage. In this process, the color of the result must be predicted before the 3rd work.
If I can apply the channel mix as a layer, I can apply the channel mix first and then work on it, which greatly simplifies the current workflow, and keeps the color of the result from the beginning. It has the advantage of being very easy to find the target point of color because you can see and work.
Probably, there are a lot of requests, so there may be differences in priorities in processing. We sincerely hope that you add the channel mix function as much as possible.
Thank you.

Hi there,
Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you've taken to contribute towards the development of the software.
I have forwarded your comments and suggestions regarding the Channel Mix option to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.
Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.

I am a frequent IR shooter with a Sony a7 Super Color IR modification by LifePixel. Photoshop does not allow a sufficient white balance adjustment to handle the Raw IR files, but it does have the Channel Mixer, which allows swapping of the Red and Blue Channels. The Raw IR file, when properly white balanced, will show a brown/orange sky and blue foliage. Channel swapping allows me to regain a blue sky with bronze foliage, which is my preference for landscape shots.
I've worked around the Photoshop/LightRoom white balance limitation by using a custom WB profile made with Adobe DNG Profile Editor. That no longer seems to work with the recent Mac OS updates (currently running macOS Catalina), so I had hoped to use Capture 20 to process my Raw IR files. I have a Raw IR shot of a grey card, which would allow me to achieve a neutral white balance.
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Bonjour,
je serai également très reconnaissant à Phase One d'implémenter cette fonction ''Channel Mix' dans la toute prochaine version de Capture One. Il est vraiment dommage d'être obligé de passer par photoshop pour obtenir un bon résultat.
Très cordialement
Daniel
