I think 20.0.4 should work with the latest version of Catalina, as many people have already tried it without any issue.

I've been running Capture One on macOS Catalina since the day Catalina was released. There have been a couple updated to both Catalina and to Capture One. Every combination I tried worked on my machine (2019 iMac 5K). That doesn't, of course, guarantee that it will work on your machine.

The support people will tell you what they've tested.   They can't make promises about things they haven't tested.  Quite reasonable.  However, it doesn't mean that what they haven't tested doesn't work.

Although I can't confirm for all cases, on my late 2015 iMac 5K, everything seems working fine with latest software combination.

Just cautious, as I had issues with 12.1.4 when I upgraded Catalina to 10.15.3. It broke tethering and I had to downgrade to Mojave (its not possible to downgrade to earlier release of Catalina). I wasted a whole day reinstalling everything with assistance from Apple support.

I have since upgraded CO to release 20, but don't want to run into the same tethering issues. Phase One don't explicitly say MacOS 10.15.4 is supported hence my reticence.

Marchman said ' However, it doesn't mean that what they haven't tested doesn't work', just don't want to waste any more time downgrading MacOS to previous versions. The post from Lilia "Which version of Capture One will work on my Apple operating system?" states 20.0.4 supports up to 10.15.3 Catalina.

I'll try it as I haven't any shoots planned, pandemic and all that
