    +1.

I was just coming here today exactly for that request!

Would even extend the request to: save layer stack as a preset.

More specifically... In my workflow it's the same Luma Range mask settings that need to get copied over and over again. So far I have to go through:

    1. Create new filled layer on 1 variant
    2. Rename layer
    3. Apply presets
    4. Adjust layer luma range (6 parameters to repeatedly input each time)
    5. Adjust layer opacity
    6. Select hundreds of variants in folder or collection
    7. Copy/Apply adjustments to all layer

I wish I could cut this routine entirely by using a preset at import.

By the way, in case trying the above recipe on all selected variants, COP will offer to create a new layer on all variants but without the luma range and opacity settings.

Is anyone else interested in this request?

    Hi Tom,

You can copy Layers between images directly from the tool. Select the primary variant to copy adjustments from and other variants to apply the adjustments to and press on the local copy and apply button in the Layers tool. You will be able to select which Layers to copy. Afterwards, chosen Layers with the masks and all adjustments will be copied to selected images.

    Hi Chris,

Thank you for your comments as well.

Currently, there is no option to save a Layer as a Preset and then apply it on import, so I will forward your suggestion to the Product Management team.

    Dear Lily,

the spectrum of actions that can be saved as presets is already quite impressive. To add this one will sure benefit with greater automation and greater usage of layers. Thanks for raising this enhancement request.

(by the way, nice documentation you have put together in the user guide section!)

    Regards, CHRIS
