Filters not updating correctly??

In the Library Tool, when I select a filter, for example "Camera Lens", the remaining filters do not update to reflect the chosen filter. For example, if I select the lens as "EF500mm f/4l IS USM" the aperature filter does not update showing only aperatures from that lens, it still shows all aperatures in the database. My F4 lens cannot shoot at F2.8, but that is exactly what the filter shows as well as many other aperatures that should not be shown.

    Filters are not dynamic, but static. The aperture filter shows all used apertures for the images in the collection.

    Is there another way to do this?  For example in Lightroom, I can select the lens in the filter, and only the aperatures for that subset of images will be present.
