FILTERS IN CAPTURE ONE
i HAVE CLICKED ON ALL IMAGES AND IT SHOWS ABOUT 1/2 OF THE NUMBER OF IMAGES AND NOTES THAT A FILTER IS ON I HAVE BEEN THRU THE ENTIRE LIST OF FILTER AND THE SEARCH BAR AND NO FILTERS ARE ON HOW DO I TURN OFF ALL FILTERS?

This article mentions the Filters tool and the Advanced Filters capability.
Basically wherever you see the Search field window (the one with the spy glass on the left) if you see an orange icon over on the right some sort of search(filter) is active.
Click on the ... icon to open the advance search to see what is going on or hit the X to remove filters.
There are other approaches - I would encourage you to experiment with the settings you can find in those areas in order to more fully understand the powerful possibilities and how to understand where you can tame them.

There are also Global Filters in Capture One. See if any is active.

The filters thing in Capture One is insanity. Granted I come from a LR world but I keep going down this pit of can't find what filter is turned on. Something is wrong with the design from a decade ago that needs to be fixed.
