Browser view only in one Tool Tab, is it possible
As in title, is it possible to setup a Tool Tab, such as Exposure to not show the browser by default, but it does in Library?
I know there is other options to turn it off and on, I'm asking about by default.
Thanks

I think you would be looking at a Workspace configuration.
Tool tabs are simply Tab for grouping tools together for convenience.

Yes, workspace configuration is what I've been trying, but failing. or at least failing in that I can't set up Exposure NOT to display browser by default.

If you save the configuration with your own name for it when the screen is displaying how you want it to display when called up that should become the default load setting when selecting that workspace.
If you have been working with a Workspace then close the edit session and re-open it my expectation would be that the opening process would normally re-establish the same setting as previously in use before closure (assuming a clean closure at that time).
This would apply by catalogue or by session if you use sessions. So on re-opening each catalogue or session would attempt to open with the screen(s) displayed exactly as they were all other thing being equal.
Are you experiencing different results?

Sorry maybe I'm not explaining the issue. I have no problem creating or loading a custom Workspace.
My issue is within that custom workspace I'd like to have, when selecting the Library tool tab to display what it does my default on the left of screen, and also the browser on the right.
But...
When I then click on the Exposure tool tab, I do not want to see the browser on the right, but I'd like it to again display if I click on the Library tool tab.
I can only seem to control it manually via keyboard shortcut (or menu), I can't display it selectively in some Tool Tabs and not others.
Hope that makes more sense!
Thanks for your time.

Hi Walter, thanks
I think you are correct in that it can't be controlled other than via menu/keyboard, coming from Lightroom to C1 I do like it better in most respects but file management and this issue is a pain.0 -
Have sent a support request to get 100% confirmed it's a no go.
