Importing a C1 catalogue with referenced folders

I just did what you are trying to do and did not have the same experience. I have all my photos on an external drive. When I import them into Capture one it creates folders and subfolders on the external drive based on image date.
I had 4 catalogs on the go, one for each era of time usually about 2-3 years each based on when I moved towns. Each catalog was referenced to the external drive with the catalog file residing on the same external drive.
I recently combined the 4 into one master catelog of 77k images.
When I used to "Import Catalog...Import Capture One Catalog" menu option it maintained the reference to the external drive.

Hi Travis, thanks for getting back to me!

You are totally right... now I cannot recreate the issue using my work machine (Windows 10). I was having issues with this more than a month ago, and getting nowhere with support (as I guess it's a non-issue?!), that I forget what I may have been doing differently. Maybe it is a Windows 7 thing? I will have to try and recreate when I have time, as a sanity check. Support would just repeat the same thing you were saying and point me to short article I had already read...

    Catalogs merged!

Now if I could just select and move multiple folders at once... time to install 20.1 and see...

    Cheers!
