Importing Chronologically...Has This Been Resolved?

Is there a way to automatically prioritize how images show after importing ie: date, name, etc.? Even when importing by name, which appears to be the default, the images are not chronological. Note image below "EmptyName 63, EmptyName 65, EmptyName 67, etc." This is not corrected until choosing a different priority "ie: date" then returning to "Name". Perhaps I am missing something, thank you.

    Brad,

    Is it your choice to import the files with names like that and  a skipped numeric sequence?

    Or are you shooting RAW + Jpg but giving the files unique names different from those given by the camera and then displaying by file type?

    Shooting just RAW, Nikon NEF files and ideally have them import chronologically by date.  Thank you.
