Capture One 20 - takes long to start a catalog with just 8000 photos

It takes about 5 minutes for me, till the catalog with around 8000 photos (which isn't really huge IMO) is loaded.

i3 processor, 16 GB RAM

Shouldn't be the case IMO, how can that be fixed?

  HDD or SSD? Windows or macOS? i3 isn't very fast comparatively. What collection is selected in the catalog? If All Images is selected, I have experienced it taking longer. Select a smaller collection before quitting and it should restart faster.
