Customisable Font Size
ImplementedC1 V12 introduced a larger font size (compared to V11) in apparent bid to please those with high-DPI displays.
This, unnecessarily, made it harder to fit many tools on to the screen when using ~96 DPI displays (without having to collapse tools or start scrolling).
C1 is very customisable so why is the font size not one of the parameters one can choose?
When I see some C1 ambassadors demonstrate C1 on YouTube, for instance, the tool labels are so much smaller than they are on my standard monitors. I prefer to use two full-HD monitors instead of one high-DPI monitor, so why am I forced to use a font size that is too large?
N.B., apparently users with extremely high-DPI displays have the opposite problem; they wish they could increase the font size.
Clearly, one size does not fit all.
P.S.: Windows font scaling only works globally and not very well. Unless the application supports custom font sizes, one has pretty much lost using Windows.

Hi,
Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you've taken to contribute towards the development of the software.
I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.
Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.

I'm in the middle of trying Capture One 20 out. On my 3440x1440 display, the text is way too small. I keep having to lean in to see things.
Interestingly, in Windows settings, the "Make text bigger" slider has no effect on Capture One. The "Make everything bigger" does have an effect. On everything. Even tools that have decent font sizes already...
Anyway, it might take a lot of work to make everything work right with different font sizes, but your customers will be very grateful, whether they need smaller fonts, or larger fonts. :)

I'm here with C1 21 and thinking that the font is too big and took up a lot of space on my 32 inch display. If there is somehow slider or option to choose UI size that is much appreciated. I'm planning to switch from Lightroom

I am also using C1 21 on a Windows 10 OS with a 27" 4K Eizo monitor and am struggling with fonts being far too large. As mentioned above, the Windows settings for changes in text size have no effect on the C1 menu sizes. Any chance a solution is in the works? Thank you.

I'm on the same boat. Just purchased C1 21 the other day with a free upgrade to V22 and hoping that this issue will be resolved with the new version. The large fonts makes it look/feel as it is still a beta version compare to Lightroom. Thanks

I recently purchased a year subscription, and today changed my second monitor to UHD 28" (3840x2160px), and was very frustrated - font and icon sizes in Viewer (which I'm using on the secondary monitor) is so tiny, my eyes start bleeding. I have poor eyesight, so this is very critical issue for me. Windows font scaling is not working, as was already mentioned.
On my primary monitor, which is just HD, C1 UI font sizes are acceptable (for obvious reason), but I would still like to increase it a bit.
It's interesting how people complain about big fonts on UHD, I wonder what did they do, because I need this.

It is regrettable that this issue has not been addressed yet.
It matters to a large number of C1 users every day whereas some of the recent developments will only matter to a subset of C1 users.2 -
Version 22 has introduced small font size. While I appreciate it, there are customers who don't like it. I really don't understand why is so compliated to add the font size option to the Preferences. It may require restart of the Capture One, but that would be still fine.

Just got a new monitor and the font size is too small. I can see this has been a problem for a while. Obviously no solution here. Any chance the solution is located somewhere else?

The font size is enormous on my 34" ultrawide display and a lot of screen real estate is lost. This is really frustrating.
