Spot Removal
ImplementedThe new Clone/Heal tool in C1 20.1 is great but there's one thing that would make it better. There are some who advocate for a highlighting option similar to Lr but that's not what this is about. In Lr if one zooms into 100% and pans to say the top left corner of the screen, one can use the PgUp/PgDn keys to move through the image one screen at a time. When the frame hits the bottom of the image it moves over one screen and returns to the top again. In this way it's possible to methodically move through the entire image. In C1 one can hold down the spacebar to pan through the image with the healing brush (for example) selected, but it's hit and miss.

Hi Mike,
Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you've taken to contribute towards the development of the software.
I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.
Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.

I agree. I used that feature in LR for methodically analyzing my pictures, specifically to find not so obvious areas that need spot removal or healing.

There are some techniques one can use to make dust spots more obvious on a temporary basis.
Paul Reiffer has just posted a great video tutorial about that in the context of the latest release.
You can also use the Navigator tool directly as well as the Space Bar option.
Personally I like the option to scroll around and do not find it hit and miss. Indeed when scrolling it seems to me that some of the more subtle blemishes that one might wish to fix as more obviously visible because they are moving.
But then it all comes down to what people are used to.

You're right, that is a good video. Thanks for pointing it out.
