cache files in Mac Library? setting up C1
I’m in the process of performing a clean install on a Mac OS Mojave and will need to reinstall capture one. When I originally installed C1 I remember watching a video on setting up where the cache files are stored within my macs libraries, I can’t find that utube tutorial and was hoping someone is knowledgeable about where C1 stores cache files on a Mac and how best to have it set so those files either are placed on an external drive or deleted more regularly?
Im not referring to the cache files found in a session’s folder but the hidden files placed within the Macs library. While all files are stored on external drives my operating drive is limited in size
Any insights and or advice is very welcome
Thanks
Jeff

The cache is stored in the Catalog file. You have to show its package content.
However, I'm not sure if you can easily delete the content of the Cache folder.
Maybe try with a copy of your catalog first..
