Does anybody know why there is a folder „com.microsoft.appcenter“ on a Mac?
In my home folder in ~/Library/Application Support/com.captureone.captureone13 is a subfolder called „com.microsoft.appcenter“. Inside that is a file „Logs.sqlite“ and two subfolders: „crashes“ (empty) and „crasheslogbuffer“ with 60 „0“-byte sized files called 0.mscrasheslogbuffer … 59.mscrasheslogbuffer. Does anybody know what these files and folders are good for – on a Mac??? They don't waste much space but it seems they are rotated every time Capture One is started and therefore delays the program start and causes a little but unnecessary wear on SSDs. MacOS has it's own crash report system so why this mircosoft thing...?

I suggest that you raise a Support Case with PhaseOne. This is just the user forum.
