I'm trying to figure this out myself. I'm about to subscribe and I only use Nikon. I want to make sure I don't get a lesser product by going with Nikon only at half the price.

Waiting for confirmation, but I think that the Nikon package will be the way to go..as I read it.....the same exact package as CP1 Pro.....but will not accept other camera manufacturers raw files.

Just in case you have not seen this it may be worth a read.

The best advice would be to download the 30 day trial, test it for all of the file types you think you might use (various jpgs, phone cameras, dng's tiffs and so on) and then decide.

    Worst case?

You get the Manufacturer specific versions and later feel a need to upgrade to support for additional formats. You would, historically, expect to find an upgrade price for that that would put you where y0ou want to be for the price difference.

Express has functionality limits compared to full versions but otherwise they are the same except for manufacturer file constraints for the lower priced variants. All of the differences are controlled by the Activation keys. There is only one download for each platform (Mac or Windows).

    HTH.
