Bug when adjusting brush size with keyboard shortcuts
After the latest C1 udpate (13.1) I noticed a bug when trying to resize the brush size (erase and heal tools as well) using keyboard shorcuts. I am not using the default shortcuts ( "[" and "]" ), but some custom ones. I also tried to change the shortcut keys and switch them back but I see no difference, so I don't think the problem is due to the shortuts I chose.
I append a gif with the behavior I observe. In the first part, I switch from the hand tool to the brush tool. Then I use my keyboard shortcuts to change the brush size. The brush size slightly increases or decreases and then goes back to the initial one. So if I keep the shortcut pressed I see the "flickering" behavior you see in the gif. If I first manually change the brush size with the slider, then the shortcuts work as expected. If I switch to another tool and then go back to the brush, this happens again.
The gif is quite heavy and it exceeds the 2MB limit, so I have to share it through a third party website, here is the link:

FWIW, I think many people (me included) can't use the standard square brackets shortcut. This seems to be one of a series of significant bugs that have appeared in 13.1. Hopefully, we will get an update soon.

I've filed this as a bug report as a lot of people seem to be experiencing the same issue (me included). You don't even need to adjust the slider, simply displaying the Brush Settings panel and then moving your mouse/pen away to hide it gives the same result.

Yes, I've seen this too.
But I don't think that it is affected by whether you use [ and ] or some custom shortcuts. Why would it be? The advantage of [ and ] to my mind is that that is a pretty standard shortcut for changing brush size in all kinds of apps including Affinity Photo, Lightroom. Photoshop etc. It's too confusing to have different shortcuts in different apps if you can avoid it.

I have an italian layout where [ and ] do not have their own primary keys, but are accessed via a combination with the alt key, so in my case it is very useful to change them to differen keys. Anyway, the problem really seems not to be dependent on this

Just upgrade to Capture One 20 from 12, and have the exact same bug. Hope it gets fixed soon. Really annoying.
