A very useful (IMHO essential) feature would be the ability to change date info for a photo. I know there is an argument that one should not do this - which applies when the correct image capture date has been recorded by the camera. However, there are cases where it is desirable:

1) Some images have been digitized by scanning film or prints. The original date taken is usually more relevant than the date scanned.

2) Purchased professional images are often provided with arbitrary or incorrect date data.

3) In some cases, the EXIF data may have been munged by an old application (e.g. iPhoto).

4) The time in the camera was incorrectly set - often because of time zone or daylight saving time.

Other apps I have used like Photos (💩) or Aperture (😢) do provide this ability. I have tried to use Photos to change dates and times, but I can't make it work to reflect what I want in C1. Aperture has one foot in the grave.

If a user wanted to block this capability, there could be a preference setting to do this. There should, in any case, be a warning about the indicated action. Also - the user should have the option of applying the date change to the Variant, or also changing the Original or Master.

    I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.

    Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.

    I would like to second that request.
    The date & time may need to be corrected after travelling to another country in a different time zone and you forget to update the camera's date/time, or you forget to update the time after daylight-saving time (summer time) starts or finishes.
    In the mean-time, for the benefit of anyone who happens to read this and has an Olympus camera, their free editor, Workspace, allows you to easily edit the Shooting Date/time.
