Healing when Luma Range adjustments are present

I'm experiencing the exact same issue which I'm assuming is a bug in the latest release. I'm actually 'glad', in a nice way as I have a lot of respect for David, that the issue was highlighted in today's Quick Edit.

Have you already filed a bug report to highlight the issue? If not it would be worth doing so and I will do the same. David seemed surprised when this happened so I'm guessing this was the first time he's experienced the issue and hopefully he will also report back to R&D.

I have also reported some issues with the healing tool. Briefly, when you try to heal a part of an image and then move the source point Capture One has chosen, the healing appears as overexposed. I submitted a ticket to Capture One, and the answer was that with the heal tool, "there is some additional blending happening".

No, I have not filed a bug report because it is still unclear to me how to do a bug reports on this website. Is it just by mail via "submit request"?

@Giovanni, It is indeed 'Submit Request' to report a bug...

@ Robert, this is clearly not the case, you only have to look at what it is actually doing. To me, it looks as though it is healing by using the unadjusted layer. In fact, I know it is as I've tested it and that proves to be the case, so definitely a bug I believe.

The latest release is very buggy but I think the R&D team are now aware of that so here's hoping for a bug fix release sooner rather than later.

    Simon,

I know it's not the same issue, but just wanted to highlight that the healing tool is not perfect yet, and some bugs can be detected. It's also the same with the cloning tool : when you select a source point and then move the target point in order to clone, the source point doesn't move, as would do Photoshop or Affinity Photo. In such a way that you don't know precisely what you are cloning.

But I agree that for most cases, these two tools are satisfactory.
