C1 20 pro deleted all my ratings live
Hello!
Ok C1 just took 1 hr of my life.
I was doing selection, rating the images, just to see at the end that half on 2000 image batch has not registered any ratings I applied. Then, I saw when I rated an image with a star and proceed to next image, that star on the previous image got deleted in front of my eyes. There was 240 shots registered with my rating though, but new ratings were not all of a sudden. I restarted C1 just to see that ALL of the rated images had gone unrated again..so nothing got rated at all.
Any idea what is going on?

It keeps on deleting ratings. I rate image go to next one and previously rated image goes back to unrated O_o0 -
It's possible that you have a setting in Preferences that is responsible for this. Here is the relevant place in the Preferences on a Mac - presumably it's similar on Windows. If the drop-down that is set to None in my screen shot is set to Full Sync, Capture One will keep changing your ratings to match those set by some other app that has produced XMP sidecar files.

Thanks a lot for your reply!
I had xmp option on, but changed something (not sure what a while ago). Then I upgraded C1 to the latest version and this started to happen.
I just opted out auto sync sidecar xmp (set it to none) and so far works fine! Thank you for that.
Still not sure what the exact reason was, because I've imported files via C1 and just worked on the within C1.0
