Change the mouse zoom direction
LoggedWhen using the mouse scroll to zoom in and out in Capture One it seems work in the opposite direction to every other macOS application.
I would expect than when scrolling away from myself - i.e. finger tip moves away from my body - that the image moves away from me .i.e gets smaller - but that is the opposite of what happens.
Similarly when moving my finger towards me I would expect the image to come closer - i.e. get bigger.
Here is a list of applications that work this way:
- MS Word
- Pages
- Numbers
- Keynote
- Affinity Photo/Designer/Publisher
and the list goes on.
Hopefully there is just a setting somewhere to change the zoom direction.

On Windows, the mouse wheel scrolling behaviour is consistent with a ton of other Windows software.
Turning the top of the wheel away from oneself, i.e., scrolling up, is considered to increase the viewing magnification and could also be regarded as "moving towards the image".
Hence, for consistency, a change of mouse wheel behaviour should only be considered for MacOS.0 -
Hi,
Thank you for the post.
Feel free to also use shortcuts Cmd + to zoom in and Cmd - to zoom out.
Touchpad for zooming in and out could be handy if you are using a laptop.
Thanks,
Lily

I have the same issue--mouse wheels scrolling works opposite to what's expected on the Mac. I guess eventually I'll get used to it working backwards but it's quite annoying and it'd be nice if this could be changed in the preferences.
